Properties: White Crystals or crystalline powder, odorless with a speculiar sweetness. It readily solves in water, slightly in ethanol, does not solve in acetone or ethyl ether.
Applications:
Food Grade:
1、It is used as a flavoring or sweetness. Incombination with sodium glutamate, DL-Alanine, or citric acid, it can be used in alcoholic beverage; as a acid corrector or buffer for the composition of wine and soft beverage; as an additive for the making of salted vegetables and sweet jams; as an additive for the making of sauce, vinegar and fruit juice, in order to improve the flavor and taste of food, to retain its original color and to provide a source of sweet;
2、It can be used as an antisepic agent for fish flakes and peanut jams, because it can inhibit the reproduction of bacillus subtilis and E.coil;
3、Glycine consists of amino and hydroxyl ions and therefore has strong buffering effects. It can play a buffering role in the taste of edible salt and vinegar;
4、It can be used as an attractant in feed additives
5、Formulation of food brewing, meat processing and refreshing beverages and debittering agent of saccharin sodium;
6、It can be used as stabilizer for cream, cheese, margarine, instant noodles, wheat flour and lard;
7、It can be used to stabilize Vitamin C for food processing
